My timezone seems to have just changed to Argentina Summer Time $ date "+%H:%M:%S %z %Z" 01:39:17 -0200 ARST If this change was correct, I'd expect to have heard something about it in the news. *Spring* started a few weeks ago, not summer. Is it really supposed to start now?

Hi, today I've noticed that all my servers (several flavors of linux and OpenBSD) had changed to DST when the change should be in two weeks... tzdata is 2008e Any help? We occasionally want to install glibc (and with it, tzselect) on tiny little systems where "install ksh or bash" is not a viable choice. I am emailing a request for a correction to the timezone data. We have customers reporting this issue. Sun Microsystems has suggested I contact your organization directly with this request.
