It's March Madness time for daylight-saving rule changes. Here's a proposed change to the tz database to keep up with the latest political development, which affects time stamps starting March 29: * Latvia and Lithuania will not observe DST, starting this year. Group: Is there a site or resource that I can quickly go to that contains histories of daylight savings date on and off dates for the last 30 years for North American, European, South Africa, and Pacific Rim countries? Thank you, John Brehm

Brazil - update

Hi, The Brazilian National Observatory has recently updated/corrected some info about the 1994/1995 DST. According to the new info available the state of Mato Grosso also had DST in this period. I'm sending here a small patch to include the info in tzdata. I used tzdata2003e as my reference.
