Please find below a link to a Google Docs page with text to use when reaching out to Website Administrators to let them know that their site doesn’t accept perfectly valid e-mail addresses for registration. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Efsao9I6ko4_ohQAxrW_xogma2il6jVrsphA9DH… Many, many thanks to the good folks at Donuts who have allowed the use of their text – in English and Russian. Latest UA Program For Dublin

Christian Dawson, Rich Merdinger and Edmon Chung, the three vice-chair’s of the UASG, will be more involved as a result. Hi Jeromie, I have filed bug 4074446 at www.bugbase.adobe.com<http://www.bugbase.adobe.com> regarding the Flash plug-in issues detected by APNIC and reported at http://www.potaroo.net/reports/Universal-Acceptance/UA-Report.pdf. It should really be multiple bugs (multiple browsers, multiple OS platforms) but I'll let you determine what/how many there should be. Please keep us informed if you have to create new bugs. Universal Acceptance Program for Dublin ... and other news

Please find attached the Universal Acceptance Program for Dublin. You’ll see the rooms as well as the remote participation link for the Sunday. (Monday’s is still be set up) The schedule and structure are set, some of the participants may change. Please note that the Sunday Workshop is intended as a workshop and will have few standard presentations. (Ashwin and Avri are the noted exceptions) I am particularly keen to build a broad discussion on what’s happening around the world on the session that starts at 9:30, so I would welcome active participation in this space. Please also note that Lunch will be provided on Sunday. IF you have any questions or comments, please do let me know. Many thanks for those who have volunteered to be active participants. I’m looking forward to seeing many of you in just over a week’s time. We’ll spend some time on this at the Sunday workshop in Dublin. And we know that several very large organisations outside of the ICANN community have started looking at UA issues.

Use Cases for UA Readiness Evaluation

Dear all (but especially those proud to be called Geeks!) I’d like to create a management list of use cases that people can use to test their systems. I would welcome your thoughts on whether this is sufficient, whether it needs more detail or less detail – and if it needs more, please provide suggestions. For example, in the document we reference TLD – but should be reference LOOOONG TLD? Should we reference 5 character TLDs (since we know of instances where these don’t work).
