The error produced here tells something else and contradictory to the content written by ICANN on whois page. It seems that this ICANN Whois is valid only for gTLDs not for all other domains. Technical Constraints to UA & EIA success

Dear all: I was recently asked what technical barriers still remain for the technical community to resolve around UA & EAI. I do know that the biggest obstacles we still see are around implementation of already ratified standards, not a lack of standards. There are some issues around IDNA and Unicode versions. (How far did PRECIS go do addressing these?) But as to technical constraints beyond implementation, I'm not certain. So, I said I'd ask. It describes using EAI in X.509 certificates, validation rules of such certificates etc . There are a lot of standards where ASCII-only email is the only option, and new standards allowing the EAI are just appearing. The X.509 certificates and email in it is just one such a place. I`m familiar with OpenSSL enough to implement the RFC 8398 (Internationalized Email Addresses in X.509 Certificates) standard in OpenSSL code, if the UA community is interested enough in it. A short note to raise awareness of some things happening with the Universal Acceptance Steering Group: 1. We have published the Quick Guide to UA in Thai<https://uasg.tech/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/UASG005-thai-quickguide.pdf>. This is in advance of an EAI Event being organised this week in Bangkok by THNIC. 2. We have published a Help Wanted Advertisement<https://uasg.tech/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Help-Wanted-Document-Review-UA…> for specialised technical help to review UASG005 (our Quick Guide) and UASG007 (or technical document on Universal Acceptance. 3. We have published another Help Wanted Advertisement<https://uasg.tech/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Help-Wanted-Target-Audience-Se…> to help identify a small and highly interested group of CIOs who are more likely to take up the call for UA & EAI. This is an additional stream of work in the Community Outreach efforts. 4. We are rekindling our efforts to have a broader part of the community contribute to our Community Outreach efforts.
