The UASG is continuing its testing of some of the most popular websites around the world to see if they are ‘UA-Ready’. We are using the ability to accept an email address in a variety of forms as the core of this evaluation. (We do recognise that there will be other tests, but this seems a relatively easy and straight forward approach.) We currently have around 120 organisations represented on the UA-Discuss mailing list. I’m wondering how many of your systems are UA ready? There were no questions during the presentation (which finished just as lunch was served) but there were positive comments immediately afterwards. During other parts of the meeting there was extensive discussion about Universal Awareness and how it was linked to Universal Acceptance. In the end, however, there was no clear and coherent program identified to pursue Universal Awareness. There were, however, several presentations with respect to Universal Awareness where new gTLD operators (and associated parties) were raising awareness of the new gTLDs generally and their own gTLDs specifically in forum OUTSIDE of the DNS Garden. There COULD be opportunities for the UASG to leverage these efforts, particularly where their audiences and our audiences overlap. 5. UA @ ICANN56 Program 6. Upvote Skype issue

Maybe this is not the group to post this, but today I logged an issue on the Skype forum. Skype.com will not allow a user to sign up with a new GTLD email address. https://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Skype-doesn-t-recogni… If I can ask the community to "upvote" this issue so it gets some attention and comment and add your own TLD strings ( for the registries on the list) Also, I would be happy to upvote anyone else's bug report on universal acceptance for any other service provider. Review of UASG 002 - Outreach to Webmasters

It’s been nearly six months since we drafted our Outreach to Webmaster text in UASG002. Since that time, the UASG has produced a number of other documents and the http://ua.thedna.org/ has stopped resolving. Your site does not recognize it and I’m reaching out to you to please look into and fix this issue. There are thousands of others that are using new web address extensions for email and are also affected.
