Translate plugin for wiki (Was Re: Thanks for attending the Technology Taskforce call on January 7 2014)

Dear Reed, Apologies for not responding earlier. One thing I have noticed is on iOS Safari (iPhone/iPad), the Google translate plugin does NOT work. I can open the dropdown showing all the language options, but then unable to select an language. The google translate macro doesn't render in the mobile view of the page and I was using the view in desktop mode. I tried to view a page with the Bing translate plugin ( https://community.icann.org/x/4DefAg) This worked in iOS in both mobile. In and desktop mode, although sometimes the Bing translate dropdown in the "view as desktop mode" only showed a subset (about 1/2) of the languages to pick from (but was still able to pick from this subset of languages for the machine translation to work). Another useful Confluence plugin Source editor

Been working on importing wiki content using Google Spreadsheets XPath (for At-Large Metrics) and I've noticed that Confluence often has empty tags or useless spans within a title which makes importing content difficult. I imagine this also leads to content that simply doesn't look right resulting in attempts to clear and reinsert the content. Dear Reed Quinn. I've looked at the Bing Translate plugin on https://community.icann.org/x/GQeuAg and it does work in translating the wiki page. I think some whitespace between the plugin and the wiki menu needs to be done at the minimum. See below [image: Inline image 1] I'm also thinking that the translate plugin could be right-aligned so that it would be closer to the wiki page title as shown below [image: Inline image 2] but I'll appreciate other TTF members thoughts on this right-alignment. Another question, another option for machine translation would be the Google Translate widget. Was there a technical reason for not doing so?
