What does the word "Day" in "UA Day" mean?
Looking at the list of Universal Acceptance (UA) Day events at <https://uasg.tech/ua-day/>, I see they have dates ranging from 22 Feb 2023 to 24 May 2023. That is a span of more than three months. Good point Jim! This is a celebration Day of UA and the event can be held on slightly different dates. It was not possible for all organizers to stick to one single day! On Tue, Apr 4, 2023 at 12:46 AM Jim DeLaHunt via UA-discuss < ua-discuss@icann.org> wrote:

Dear JimTo my understanding, The word DAY means celebrating Universal Acceptance in that region on that DAY. An opportunity to rally local, regional, communities and organizations to spread Universal Acceptance (UA) awareness and to encourage UA adoption with key stakeholders. The day consist of UA training, awareness, and strategy sessions held by the Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG), regional and local organizations. These are like post events after Global UA Day event which held on 28th March. Hello Jim, Though a particular day is declared as the UA day globally, it's impractical to have everyone celebrate it on the same day. For example: 1. The org staff cannot be in all the UA Day events that are being celebrated across the globe if all were to be held at the same time. It's very impossible. 2. If the UA executives were to be invited to say few words in some of the events, if all were to be made same day it's going to be difficult, or just impossible. So, though it is a UA Day, it's impractical to have all the events on the same very day. Hence, the reason most of us chose different dates to have the events. Jim, we have to universally accept the flexibility to celebrate the UA Day :-) r.
