Thanks for the heads-up. This seems to be the first official fallout from the European Commission proposal to abolish DST in Europe. It would be odd to use the abbreviation "CET" for time in Morocco as Morocco is neither central nor European (and the oddness will likely increase if the EU abolishes DST), so the attached proposed patch changes time zone abbreviations to be numeric in Morocco. As the change takes effect tomorrow (with practical effect Sunday) we'll need a new tzdb release shortly. This decision by Morocco may affect the near-future choice of time zone in Spain, where there is a good deal of controversy and the possibility that Spain may split into 3 timezones instead of the current 2, with the Balearic Islands hiving off, resulting in a new tzdb Zone.
