We sure are. Also remember that ICANN has a long standing policy to folow IETF standards. The IETF put a lot of work into deciding what characters are and are not allowed in UTF-8 domain names in the IDNA2003 and IDNA2008 documents. Emoji are definitely not allowed. I think I can say with great confidence that if someone showed up in the IETF and asked to update the IDNA rules to allow emoji, the response would be a deep sigh followed by "nope." R's, John
