This is your third attempt to perpetrate this falsehood. As you were already told, your only "evidence" for it is an April Fool's joke. Please stop. regards, tom lane
At what point do we ban a person from sending anything to the mailing list? They have done nothing but attempt to sow disinformation in what can only be assumed to be deliberate at this point. Jacob Pratt On Tue, Oct 21, 2025 at 4:18 PM Tom Lane via tz <tz@iana.org> wrote:

I was informed that the moderation bit was set on the user in question earlier this month after the first spate of spam, but this latest round may have slipped through the moderation process (which is managed by IANA staff, not me or Paul). I've just alerted the relevant parties to this latest incident. -- Tim Parenti
Hi, If a subscriber is not making a meaningful attempt to engage in good faith discussion by responding to others, and instead making repetitive restatements, then I think they are causing a nuisance and will be subject to moderation action. Perhaps we have reached this point on this particular topic. Unfortunately there is not a bright line when an individual’s engagement ceases to be constructive, so it requires applying some judgment. There is also a case to be made to not “feed to trolls”, with the replies consuming more oxygen than the original posts. kim From: Jacob Pratt via tz <tz@iana.org> Reply-To: Jacob Pratt <jacob@jhpratt.dev> Date: Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 13:21 To: Tom Lane <tgl@sss.pgh.pa.us> Cc: Saras Sing <sarassing57@gmail.com>, Saras Sing via tz <tz@iana.org> Subject: [tz] Re: South Africa Daylight Saving Time At what point do we ban a person from sending anything to the mailing list?
