If a subscriber is not making a meaningful attempt to engage in good faith discussion by responding to others, and instead making repetitive restatements, then I think they are causing a nuisance and will
be subject to moderation action.
Perhaps we have reached this point on this particular topic. Unfortunately there is not a bright line when an individual’s engagement ceases to be constructive, so it requires applying some judgment. There
is also a case to be made to not “feed to trolls”, with the replies consuming more oxygen than the original posts.
