RE: tzcode2003a.tar.gz and tzdata2003a.tar.gz

Is it possible to change the List config so that a "label" is put at the beginning of the Subject, e.g. "[TZ]", so that it is easier to sort and apply Email Processing Rules, etc. ? I imagine other people would find that useful as well ? - Feedback ? Ewwww. Yuck. Please don't. Subject lines are for subjects. You can filter the TZ list quite nicely by using the "Resent-From" header or the presence of tz@lecserver.nci.nih.gov as a recipient. No reason to pollute the subject line. Hal

Indeed. Or otherwise look for the X-Mailing-List header: X-Mailing-List: <tz@elsie.nci.nih.gov> See also http://www.tux.org/lkml/#s3-18

I use Netscape for my email (on Linux) and can sort incoming messages into various folders based on the "to or cc" entries (along with other things). I have been putting all messages with the following to or cc values into a separate "tz" folder: tz@elsie.nci.nih.gov tz@lecserver.nci.nih.gov and do not seem to get any tz related messages into any of my other folders.
