DPRK to revert to UTC+9 from UTC+8:30

On 2018-04-29 (+09:00), according to Yoon Young-chan, senior presidental secretary for public relations of South Korea, has announced that North Korea will revert its time zone from UTC+8:30 (PYT; Pyongyang Time) back to UTC+9 (KST; Korea Standard Time), in lieu of the recent Panmunjom Declaration. Yet another time to change tzdata? Thanks for the heads-up. Could you please let us know exactly when DPRK will make the transition from +08:30 to +09? We'll need that information to update tzdb. Thank you.

One of my devs stumbled upon this tweet from the WSJ: KCNA: "The reset Pyongyang time shall be applied from May 5, Juche 107 (2018)…the Cabinet and relevant organs of the DPRK shall take practical steps to implement the decree." https://twitter.com/JChengWSJ/status/990728938170322944 Seems like another quick change is coming. Isn't this an indication that the abbreviation "PYT" was used since 2018-05-05 to denote UTC + 08:30 h as different from UTC + 09 h abbreviated as KST? Michael Deckers.
