Hi, I think the tzdata may have an conflict with the Egypt rules posted at timeanddate.com At the moment - the start DST rule for Egypt is : Rule Egypt 1995 max - Apr lastFri 0:00s 1:00 S This would imply the night of thurs night/Fri morning 23/24th April 2009. Now - timeanddate has : Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 11:59:59 PM No +2 hours EET Friday, May 1, 2009 at 1:00:00 AM 1 hour +3 hours EEST http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/clockchange.html?n=53 May I ask which one is correct ? One of our customers has said they have local knowledge that the timeanddate.com version is the correct one. Thanks, Sean. Sean Coffey wrote:
Hi Arthur,
the timeanddate link given in the update below is incorrect I believe. It points to "Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico" http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/clockchange.html?n=3D53
Is : http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/clockchange.html?n=53 the line you meant ?
regards, Sean.

Below is a proposed change (thanks to Petr Machata) for the end of DST in Egypt in 2009 and forward. If not problems are found, this change should show up in the ftpable version a week from today.
