In fact, the mistake was that the variable TZ was set to CET on SunOS, that's why it didn't work correctly. In order to avoid this mistake, I unset the variable TZ. If someone have some comment about this, let me know.
If you want to use the Solaris TZ names, you either have to compile your tzdata with the SysV-compatibility names turned on, or point your TZDIR at the system zoneinfo directory. -- Jonathan Lennox lennox@cs.columbia.edu
