Elsie.nci.nih.gov is the old, pre-bureaucratic name of the computer that has the mailing list software; lecserver.nci.nih.gov is the new, bureaucracy-mandated name. A couple of years ago NIH decided to block electronic mail except to gateway servers; there's an MX record in place that redirected "elsie" mail to one of the servers, but there's no "lecserver" MX entry. Thus the need for the "Reply-to" in each outgoing message. --ado -----Original Message----- From: Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven [mailto:asmodai@in-nomine.org] Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2008 3:55 To: tz@lecserver.nci.nih.gov Subject: mailing list setup Is there a reason we get the emails from tz@lecserver.nci.nih.gov, but every email's Reply-To is set to tz@elsie.nci.nih.gov?
