I'm sending a copy of this message to everyone who has written recently about the incorrect tz tables for Brazil. At the end of this message I enclose a patch that embodies the "southamerica" part of both proposed patches that I forwarded to the tz list last week. You should be able to apply this patch directly to the data in tzdata2002c. This is just a summary of the "southamerica" part of last week's proposals.
