If someone can clarify the question, I can ask my boss, who sits at the next desk to me and is a Queenslander.
The question is how to describe, in the form of brief commentary, the islands where holiday operators chose to observe daylight-saving time for a couple of years after summer 1992, even though Queensland officially stopped observing DST that year. For a bit more about this, please see: https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/tz/1996-November/009697.html which says "the IATA SSIM ... says that the Holiday Islands (Hayman, Lindeman, Hamilton) observed DST through 1993/1994."
