No part of that includes the maintenance of zone.tab at all, which is, broadly, a recommendation of which of the zones we maintain should be presented by default for non-technical end-users to select from. There is no fundamental reason that recommendation should include timezones that are redundant in the present time, solely on the basis of them having differed 40 years ago.
