I completely agree. Another, related mailing list I subscribe to, CALNDR-L, run by Rick McCarty of East Carolina University, was suffering from spam attack until the moderator closed the list to all non-subscribers. A non- subscriber now has to write the moderator, and if the post is relavent, it is posted; if it is spam, it is now. I think ado should do the same thing here. Chris Carrier
