The 2001-01-24 traditional Washington Post contained the page one story "Timely Issue Divides Mexicans." For this mailing list, the heart of the matter is that Mexico City Mayor Lopez Obrador "...is threatening to keep Mexico City and its 20 million residents on a different time than the rest of the country..."
