* Brazil observes DST from 10-29 to 02-18 this summer. (Thanks to everyone who reported this.)

Marcos Tadeu von Lützow Vidal, Andre Gerhard, David Madeo, Mario Sergio Fujikawa Ferreira, and I all reported that Brazil starts DST on 10-8-2000, not 10-29. Your actual update confirms this, but some people may only read your description and get confused.
