Given that Ramadan is a lunar month, occurring in any season and spring only 25% of the time, and that Shawwal is the next month, a better phrase for the resumption of an alternate time might be "Shawwal forward", which is somewhat homonymic with "shuffle" in English. There should be some better sources available of accurate astronomical moon sighting calculations which can provide better predictions of global high probability dates and dates for specific locations years into the future, similar to those used in Europe. -- Take care.
