Yes, those would be possible too, but do remember, that except for in the few special cases where you know (roughly) what zone applies (some other way) and you know that in that zone the abbreviations mean something (how "you" know all that is anyone's guess), these things never make sense.
It is, however, a bit misleading to suggest that the special cases are rare and not frequent -- since they apply to the US, they are in fact extremely common for many many users. How do we feel about "___". --jhawk@mit.edu John Hawkinson
