What daylight gets saved? It's a meaningless term.
The daylight in the early mornings is saved, that is otherwise wasted with few people making use of it. It is a better term anyway than the original 'Seasonal Time-adjustment in Countries South of Lat. 30°' and has stuck in our lexicon since at least 1908. -- Stuart Bishop <stuart@stuartbishop.net> http://www.stuartbishop.net/
