Can someone please confirm if the Samoa DST will start between Sept 24th and Sept 25th or between Sept 25th and Sept 26th? There seems to be conflicting info here: http://www.timeanddate.com/news/time/samoa-starts-dst-2010.html (between Sept 24th and Sept 25th) http://www.worldtimezone.com/dst_news/dst_news_samoa05.html (between Sept 25th and Sept 26th) -----Original Message----- From: Alexander Krivenyshev [mailto:worldtimezone@yahoo.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 27, 2010 8:02 AM To: tz@lecserver.nci.nih.gov Subject: Samoa DST ends on Sunday 3nd April 2011 at 1am Steffen Thorsen <straen <at> thorsen.priv.no> writes:
Samoa has now released the dates they will change clocks for DST according to samoaobserver.ws:
Saturday 25th September 2010 – adjust your clocks forward from 12:00am to 1:00am Saturday 2nd April 2011 – adjust your clocks backwards from 1:00am to 12:00am
Samoa DST starts on midnight between Saturday, September 25, 2010 and Sunday, September 26, 2010 and will end DST on the first Sunday of April (midnight April 2-April 3) in 2011. little correction to Steffen Thorsen: end of DST for Samoa should be: "Sunday 3nd April 2011 – adjust your clocks backwards from 1:00am to 12:00am" not "Saturday 2nd April 2011 – adjust your clocks backwards from 1:00am to 12:00am" Samoa Information Technology Society http://www.sits.ws/Home/tabid/1306/mid/6724/newsid6724/175/Samoas-Daylight- Saving-Starts-in-September-2010/language/en-NZ/Default.aspx or http://www.worldtimezone.com/dst_news/dst_news_samoa05.html Alexander Krivenyshev, http://www.worldtimezone.com
