Dear All, Sorry again I couldn't attend the call a few days ago. I totally agree with using Skype and Slack as they're both feature-rich and available on many platforms. Almost everybody's already using them and I think this reduces the hassle of the current tools that are being used. *Mahdi Taghizadeh* *http://mahdi.ws <http://mahdi.ws>* On Tue, Oct 3, 2017 at 6:02 PM, Dev Anand Teelucksingh <devtee@gmail.com> wrote:
Dear All,
As mentioned on the TTF October 2 call, the TTF has done some work on group chat solutions and was included in the TTF presentations for ICANN58 and ICANN59.
I've made the slides as a separate slidedeck for us to review and comment on.
The summary:
- At-Large been using Skype - Skype has some disadvantages - Group chat has several advantages - the TTF has done a lot of work in reviewing and testing group chat solutions - Ideally, ICANN should deploy its own group chat solution - Barring that, At-Large should use Slack for several reasons.
The sides can be found at https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1bY-O_QWe8S- G7braIGXndxcG03sMqtCSUoqJhhwUROU/edit?usp=sharing
and attached as a PDF to this email.
Thoughts? Agree with the approach? Commenting is enabled on the Google Slides
Regards,
Dev Anand
