Estimado Rodrigo, Mis mas sinceras felicitaciones, a ti, y a tu equipo de trabajo. Creo que la foto en San Juan muestra el crecimiento que hemos tenido como región. Los diferentes proyectos, y la capacitación continua son muy buenos pasos en este sentido. Nos falta camino por recorrer, pero estoy seguro que cada dia es mas fácil recorrerlo, con mas gente involucrada, usuarios, empresas y gobiernos. En las reuniones de LAC Space se siente el real espíritu de Múltiples Partes Interesadas, con las diferentes partes apuntando por un mejor ecosistema de internet en nuestra región. Con capacitación constante, y con revisiones constantes de la estrategia por parte de todos los actores, no solo de ICANN como Corporación, sino de ICANN como una Comunidad. Que lleva a los diferentes actores trabajar en conjunto. Mas involucrados por ser parte activa de esa estrategia. The LAC region's participation in ICANN processes grew tremendously in the last five years. What started as few stakeholder meetings during ICANN Public Meetings, grew into formalized sessions during those meetings, including the LAC Space and the newly formed LAC Session on PDPs. Similarly, the level of awareness about ICANN improved significantly, due to regional events and outreach efforts that encouraged the participation of new voices in the region.
