UA @ GDD Summit\n Report b ack:\n\nThe Universal Acceptance session consisted of\n\n• a det ailed update on UASG activities from Don\;\n\n• A verbal update from Dennis on the state of the work done between Verisign and GoDaddy – including some preliminary ideas on a Blueprint format\n\n• A report on UA Activities in China by Xiadong Lee (CEO of CNNIC)\n\n• A presentation of UA issues in India from Jitender Kumar from Afilia s.\n\n\n\nThere were no questions during the presentation (which finished just as lunch was served) but there were positive comments immediately aft erwards.\n\n\n\nDuring other parts of the meeting there was extensive disc ussion about Universal Awareness and how it was linked to Universal Accept ance. In the end\, however\, there was no clear and coherent program ide ntified to pursue Universal Awareness.\n\n\n\nThere were\, however\, sever al presentations with respect to Universal Awareness where new gTLD operat ors (and associated parties) were raising awareness of the new gTLDs gener ally and their own gTLDs specifically in forum OUTSIDE of the DNS Garden.
