Yes, limited to 57 characters “Punycode converters only converts this number of Arabic characters”, Mr. Raed “Saudi NIC” replied that 57+4 or 6 “xn—or xn----” so the total will be 61 or 63 .

do you mean limited to a string of length 57, or that there are 57 characters that can be converted to punycode (I am not sure how many different Arabic letters are possible
when counting all the possible combinations of diacritics...)
