Hi, I've checked the sites that are currently using your database and all of them have the wrong timezone for Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, México. Which should be the same as Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México. (America/Matamoros) instead of (America/Monterrey). Source from the Government official diary in Article 5, paragraph I: https://dof.gob.mx/nota_detalle.php?codigo=5670045&fecha=28/10/2022#gsc.tab=...

https://data.iana.org/time-zones/data/theory.html says that the tz database does not attempt to formally delineate boundaries between zone IDs; nevertheless, it appears this is reflected properly in our commentary: https://github.com/eggert/tz/blob/1dd5133c04707a454e275032f6264b03f267638b/n... As such, issues with mappings of locations such as Valle Hermoso to zone IDs such as America/Matamoros should be raised to those doing the mappings — either the websites in question or the libraries they may be using. -- Tim Parenti
