DST reestablished in Chile
Dear Paul Eggert, IANA community. The chilean government recently reestablished DST for Chile, for a period of 3 months, "from the second saturday of May to the second saturday of August. This change is starting this year, in May 14th. Here's the official link to the decree law 253 published on March 16th, stating this change: http://www.leychile.cl/Navegar?idNorma=1088502 I would like to know if this has been previously informed (I just joined the mailing list) and if is scheduled to be fixed in the next update to the TZ Database. Thanks in advance. -- Mauricio Ubilla Carvajal
