The hearing on Maryland House Bill 1290, "Full-Year Daylight Saving Time," has been cancelled: https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Legislation/Details/hb1290 In past years such bills died in committee, but only having had a hearing; this is the earliest death yet for such a bill. Perhaps the state legislators have more important matters on their minds this year. @dashdashado

Meanwhile, progress on Utah's bill for year-round standard time also appears to have halted… https://www.ksl.com/article/51256784/senators-pump-the-brakes-on-bill-to-eli... As Paul has mentioned, these state bills are numerous and have rarely made it out of committee for a floor vote. North Dakota's bill passing its House is a recent exception (the bill has now been referred to committee in the Senate). I recently discovered that the National Conference of State Legislatures has a decently comprehensive legislation tracker for DST-related bills: https://www.ncsl.org/transportation/daylight-saving-time-state-legislation While that page only appears to be updated a few times a year and doesn't get terribly fine-grained about each bill's progress through committee hearings, etc., most of those details can be found by looking up the bill number on LegiScan, which also tends to link straight to each legislature's dedicated webpage for a given bill: https://legiscan.com/ -- Tim Parenti
