The "Names & Faces" column in the Monday, October 31, 1994 Washington (DC) Post, page D3 (compiled from staff and wire reports by Marla Harper) contains a "Daylight-Saving Bust" item. Erik (son of Kirk) Douglas was arrested after arguing with a Denny's manager who wouldn't serve him a drink. "...Douglas had insisted he be served, saying the one-hour shift to Pacific Standard Time made it 1 a.m.-- and within the 2 a.m. cutoff for alcohol sales..." --ado
