Hi, After I sent my previous mail (appended here) I noted that there is another change needed. I am referring to the latest file tzdata2006d.tar.gz The last two lines for the Sri Lanka time zone file Asia/Colombo needs to be changed to 6:00 - LKT 2006 Apr 15 0:30 5:30 - LKT as the time change was effective from April 15 0:30. The latest version of the timezone data file ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/tzdata2006c.tar.gz contains the updated time offset for Sri Lanka, but the text field is set to IST. I think this needs to be corrected to LKT.
