Yesterday the office of Egyptian President El-Sisi announced his decision to abandon DST permanently. This increases the likelihood of the correctness of our guess in 2015d for no DST in Africa/Cairo after 2015. Although the proposed patch (attached) was too late to make the cutoff for 2015d, it affects only commentary.
