The last couple of bulletins have said ...26 - I think we need to believe what they're sending out. If that's incorrect, some later version will fix it (and it isn't as if anyone is going to really go searching in the tzdata leapseconds file comments in order to find out how to contact IERS). kre

The new text in Zefram's diff is directly from Bulletin C 43<ftp://hpiers.obspm.fr/iers/bul/bulc/bulletinc.43>from IERS. Looking back at the last five years or so of the archived announcements <ftp://hpiers.obspm.fr/iers/bul/bulc/>, it seems they've used -26 and -29 almost interchangeably, going back and forth more than a few times. Or are we waiting for another zone change? here is an update due, and the leap second update is in it already. The Armenian change I'd like a little more confirmation of, if that's possible, those changes seem to be frequently postulated, but less often actually occur. It is certainly a possibility, but something more than an announcement of an intention would be nice to see, Finally, apologies for not having made the promised update near the beginning of the year, there is nothing major (urgent) in it yet, but it should have appeared before now. I am working on it, but a little short of time at the minute (for the next week or so, after that less of a problem for the next couple of months at least). kre

Please also add the following. I don't have the book from Le Corre, but i can read maps and recognize typos in names of French cities. I've also exchanged Dole and Arbois. Thanks. Assuming that there's no-one here who knows French geography and objects to these changes (that would certainly not be me), they should appear in the next update. kre

Tim Parenti has been kind enough to send me what looks to be everything needed for a tzdata update, I just need to flush out all the obsolete refs I can find in the html (and other docs) and make a tzcode update to go with it (no C code changes in this one, as I mentioned before). Expect to see an advance copy of the planned update for review early next week (perhaps even sometime over the weekend) - if it doesn't appear, feel free to hassle me about it! kre
