Macao vs Macau in tzdata2014a/iso3166.tab
Hi, the tzdata2014a/iso3166.tab lists "MO Macau". It used to be "MO Macao", for instance in tzdata2013d. Looking at: http://www.iso.org/iso/home/standards/country_codes/updates_on_iso_3166.htm it shows "MO Macao" (via the OBP link on page 14). I would like to check, is the "MO Macau" entry in tzdata2014a/iso3166.tab correct? Thank you, Tomas

FWIW, the git repo has this change occurring much earlier: https://github.com/eggert/tz/commit/898013ff85e0ac5ea063d6eb054f11b7fed97378 Cheers, Dirkjan

It was changed from Macao to Macau in 2002b. That's what the git repository says, anyway, as well as the repositories on iana.org. Thank you, I found out I was relying on a changed iso3166.tab copy.
This is the email which explains the entry: http://mm.icann.org/pipermail/tz/2002-May/011952.html Tomas Klacko
