new update to Asia/Amman TZ
Dears in IANA Organization Good day, Our government here in Jordan has just announced to keep working with GMT +3 TZ all the year in Jordan and here is the official news (Arabic version) https://petra.gov.jo/Include/InnerPage.jsp?ID=225894&lang=ar&name=news we need your support on this by having a new version of tz file that includes this update. Multiple people reported the Jordan change. Issam Al-Zuwairi wrote the first email I received, and you saw Issam's name because it appeared in the context of the second patch discussed below.

These patches are applied to the development repository here: https://github.com/eggert/tz/ I had already installed the first patch about Jordan's change: https://github.com/eggert/tz/commit/3aa74b7f79a3df2f92b563a515a7e24fa175a2eb and the email you're referring to contained the second patch: https://github.com/eggert/tz/commit/842ad565dcfaa13dd02609ad2390852d52b619e5 These patches should appear in the next tzdb release, which has not occurred yet but should be reasonably soon (there is no set schedule).
