Egypt to change back to Daylight system!
Hello, Egypt is to change back to Daylight system on May 15! Please can you update? Thank you.
I'm sorry for lack of details. I just read the news and thought to give you a notice to follow up because this affects our business (Arabic Tuition Center with students booking lessons). I'm not sure what information you need but what I know is that this is exactly the same situation that was applied in 2010 and back then we had to notify the author of Olson's database and he did kindly change it (He has made a special data entry for 2010 for Egypt). The news source: http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/100735/Egypt/Politics-/Egypts-g... Thank you. On Wed, May 7, 2014 at 8:24 PM, Paul Eggert <eggert@cs.ucla.edu> wrote:

Thanks for the heads-up. That's not much notice, I'm afraid. Can you supply a citation with all the details, preferably to a reliable source in the English language? Thanks.
Thanks for the citation. I pushed the attached patch to the experimental tz release on github. There's a lot of guesswork in this one, and comments are welcome. It looks like we'll need a new official release soon.
Thank you so much Paul for your kind help. I will pass this to the company managing our server. On Thu, May 8, 2014 at 3:12 AM, Paul Eggert <eggert@cs.ucla.edu> wrote:
