The file... ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/tzdata2009m.tar.gz ...is now available; this reflects the changes circulated last week on the time zone mailing list (added commentary for Argentina and a change to the end of DST in 2009 in Pakistan). I'll wait for reports on what actually happens in Bangladesh on October 1 before making any changes there, but a tzdata2009n can be expected sometime within a month. --ado

Shouldn't that be 2009n? See http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.time.tz/2877 On 28.09.2009, at 15:47, Olson, Arthur David (NIH/NCI) [E] wrote:

David is absolutely correct; tzdata2009n.tar.gz is the version that's available now; tzdata2009o.tar.gz is the one to expect in October. Thanks for the catch! --ado -----Original Message----- From: David Zülke [mailto:david.zuelke@bitextender.com] Sent: Monday, September 28, 2009 10:06 To: tz@elsie.nci.nih.gov Cc: Olson, Arthur David (NIH/NCI) [E] Subject: Re: tzdata2009m.tar.gz Shouldn't that be 2009n? Given this naming convention, what happens if more than 26 updates are released in a year? (it wouldn't surprise me if you burn all the remaining letters with Argentina)
