Thanks, I installed your performance fix via the attached proposed patch. The performance bug seems to have been introduced by my commit 30364485a6fdc0333f48905db387e07abb70bac1 (2013-09-08) "Improve the support for perpetual DST" which first appeared in tzdb 2013e.
