No, I wasn't familiar with Mirmalek's work. I see she turned it into a book published in March. Thanks for the heads-up. I updated theory.html's discussion of Martian timekeeping based on the info you sent, and installed the attached patch. This patch also changes some tenses in the text, as the Mars Exploration Rover mission's second rover bit the dust in 2018 (literally: communications cut off during a planetwide dust storm).
