Hey all, Is there a reason why the Europe/London and Europe/Dublin Zone definitions are outside the "Europe" section that starts on line # 449 in the "europe" data file? For consistency sake, shouldn't those two sections be moved under the "Europe" section where the DST Rule for "EU" is defined? thanks danvin
Back when the "europe" file was created London and Dublin weren't observing EU rules and were in a separate section. --ado -----Original Message----- From: Danvin Ruangchan [mailto:danvin@apple.com] Sent: Thursday, December 17, 2009 4:18 To: tz@lecserver.nci.nih.gov Subject: London and Dublin zone definitions Hey all, Is there a reason why the Europe/London and Europe/Dublin Zone definitions are outside the "Europe" section that starts on line # 449 in the "europe" data file? Thanks for your quick response! Can I propose that we move those regions under the EU sections now that those cities observe the EU DST rules? danvin On Dec 17, 2009, at 1:22 PM, Olson, Arthur David (NIH/NCI) [E] wrote:
