One thing that bothers me about the new parsing routine for /etc/TIMEZONE (I can't say at this point whether it is different from the old one) i that fgets calls malloc(). One of the uses which I have for ctime strictly forbids the use of either malloc() or the standard I/O libraries. Ron Tolley
