Time in Russian occupied Ukraine
Does anyone know which time zone is used in the "separatist" or Russian occupied areas of eastern Ukraine? Or in the areas temporarily occupied during Russian invasion in the north of Kiev, from which Russia has withdrawn again? Until 27 March 2022, Ukraine was on 2h east, while western Russia was on 3h east (Europe/Moscow), like Crimea (Europe/Simferopol). Now since the begin of DST they have the same time offset.

It's not something we track, and there are good technical reasons not to track it. theory.html says, "If boundaries between regions are fluid, such as during a war or insurrection, do not bother to create a new timezone merely because of yet another boundary change."
I agree that at this stage it is not a case for TZ database yet. But I hope that some Ukrainian and/or Russian contributors investigate and record what happens on the ground, in terms of actual clock settings, and report later once the situation is more stable. Now since 27 March the clocks are the same, on both sides of the front lines, but this will change again at the end of October.
