Jordan DST - News
Hello, The Council of Ministers in Jordan decided Wednesday 5th October 2022, that daylight saving time (DST) will be throughout the year. Here's a link from an official news website https://en.royanews.tv/news/37769/2022-10-05 Thanks for creating a new TZ DB version. Thanks for the news about Jordan. Proposed patch attached and installed into the development repository. It looks like we'll need another tzdb release soon, as the current release is wrong for Jordan and Syria as of three weeks from tomorrow. This is more urgent than the changes we'll likely need for Mexico and Paraguay, where (aside from Paraguay's tm_isdst flag, which almost nobody can or should care about) the current release should be adequate until March 25 for Paraguay and April 2 for Mexico. Although it would be nice if we could wait for Mexico's and Paraguay's changes to become official so that the next release would cover all four countries' changes, it's not clear we'll have that luxury of time.

As it happens I cut a new release a few minutes ago. It should be published soon.
