In hindsight it was a political decision to create entries for Norway and Sweden and thus elevate them above other regions that lack entries. So, yes, I can see political sensitivity in removing that elevation.
One principle of conservatism and stability is, "What has been done should not be un-done." I think we have lost sight of that (or failed to value it sufficiently highly) a bit too often of late. -- jhawk@alum.mit.edu John Hawkinson
