Is there any estimation when the new tzdata package containing the leap second information will be available?
We need to include it in our SW in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks for the heads-up; I forwarded it to NIST, as they are upstream 
from us. (We don't copy the IERS files due to unresolved copyright issues.)

and installed the attached patch into the experimental version on 
GitHub; please let us know if it has any problems.
