I’m not sure if this is where I am supposed to report this so sorry if its not.
 
I downloaded the files from the following site
wget 'ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/tz*.tar.gz'

I checked the daylight savings times that were generated and found that they were incorrect for at least Sydney and Adelaide for at least this year.

http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/averages/tables/dst_times.shtml

This is the site for the Australian Bureau of Meteorology which lists all the current dates for DST  in Australia to the current date.
